​For as long as I can remember I've loved to sketch and paint, always encouraged by my parents with gifts of art sets and materials. 

When I expressed my desire to try woodcarving, my father introduced me to local carvers Ernie Fox and Armand L'Anglais, who would gladly share their time and knowledge in their homes until I was old enough to join the St.Lawrence Wildfow Assn.

I've always dabbled with painting. I discovered the airbrush years ago, which I've found fun to use on paper and canvas.
And it's a nice option when your wife won't let you run the welder in the house.

With the exception of help from the above mentioned, and so many more artists I've met and known, I'm self taught but always learning. 

Whatever the medium, art has always been a great way to make me and those around me happy, and I like that.
