Creative projects have been a part of my life since my early teens. Initially starting with knitting and sewing, over time I have also taken courses in weaving, felting and fibre art on frame looms. I have taken classes to learn how to make ceramic mosaics as well as basket weaving. 

Recently I have begun my drawing and painting art journey. In the spring of 2025 I took an introductory art course in drawing and painting. We learned the basics of charcoal drawing and acrylic painting. I have recently started exploring Gelli print painting using acrylic paint with both fibre and paper and I am currently trying watercolour painting as well. 

My learnings continue as I try various techniques and styles of drawing and painting. I am inspired by nature, gardening, water and the seasons.
