Spending decades out in the country, wandering through forests and seashores, I turn over a rock, I see, and feel the earth's energy. My senses are all sparking as the vibrations of life abound.
My grandfather Walter, was an artist, and as a small child I watched his post-impressionist style flow on to canvas after canvas, desirable to my sense of what I see out beyond what I know.
Atmosphere, altitude, and the subtleties of colour, speak to me in volume, with no words required.
I paint what I know to be true.
